oxygen sensors???

Hi i recently got my car checked as it was jerky whilst driving and i got told that the oxygen sensor on the RHS of the car is knackered. The geezer told me to change both of them, he said he would do the full job for £370. Question: is this steep for 2 new sensors and fitting?? Where are these sensors located?? How long do they take change?? Can i refurbish these things myself, if so how??

they cost £104 i think from Nissan each including vat.

and they are very difficult to get to, can be done but need special tool from snap-on (well thats how i did mine lol)

do ya self a favour and get em from courtesey in the usa, they are not hard to do ,unless they are tight like mine were, they are both positioned in the back corners of ya car.down near the turbos

they look like a spark plugs sticking out of the engine with a couple of wire s in the top

Hello Mate,

Changed mine a while ago, it is a tricky job but 370 ouch.

You can either get an O2 sensor socket, about 10-20 quid, or you can use a crows foot socket mine cost me a fiver!

You'll need a full socket set and a power bar extension!

I don't know why you need to change both sides if one is working!

I think my O2 sensor cost me 80-90 quid a while ago, from courtesey!
