running fault

hi guys,

got a prob with the zed. under hard acceleration shes gone quite flat, doesnt pick up as well as it used to. also not as smooth.

under 1/2 throttle theres no noticable difference.

it doesnt miss at all, just flat. new plugs ptu, all connections cleaned, no faults in ecu. only mod is cone filter so far.

my initial thoughts are collapsed cats/exhaust - will check this when my new mongoose sys turns up. or AFM not giving correct readings.

anyone had similar probs??

I have a spare which should be winging it's way back from Macca very soon. In the meantime you could try cleaning the hotwire (very gently) on yours and/or resoldering any dodgy looking joints on the circuit board.

Have u checked for safety boost??

By that I do not mean the ecu check which is not too reliable on telling when the last det sensor fault was actually occuring, an intermittent fault here can lead to a clear code (55) It is worth inserting the 1 meg resister in the det sensor connector AS A TEST! Have seen this many times now ...worth a try.
