Hiya, ok I know its a BMW and an unashamed show off, but then after the work I did the past week or so on this little miss I thought it be nice to show a few pics.

 

Have not quite sussed it out yet but somewhere I park the near side rear keeps collecting door dents from careless doors been opened onto mine, after the last one I could not stand the bruised look any more so stipped the bumper and trims lights etc. and off it went to the bodyshop for a rear end repair and repaint, the back door has 6 dents in !! and the rear quarter 3! jeeze one was so high it must of been a friggin lorry door, drives me mad I am so careful to not get close to other cars but you bet when I return to mine someone parked up really close argh!!!

 

So he we go, last pics show the new gloss window trim and glass gloss door sails from the US, completed the build up Saturday Afternoon and trhen had 6 hours of cleaning and polishing.

drives me nuts people opening their car doors onto my car, had that once in Morrison's car park, wasn't even shopping there, i was waiting to pick the Mrs up, couple beside me came back to their car, he got in his side, she opened the door streight on to my car, not even so much as a sorry or even a look, so i got out and had a look, knocked on her window and kindly asked her to be more frigging careful next time.

 

Looks good though matey, loving the wheels and finish.

 

Glad i got the kids seats in the zed, i park in the mother and child bays now, gives me extra room, but doesnt stop you worrying about trolleys though.

 

(though always funny pulling into a child bay in a zed, the look on mothers faces until you dig the little one out the back lol)

Door denting is driving me nuts, as the Beema had been in the paintshop I used my nissan everyday the past week and bleeding guess what!!! a fliiping dent right in the middle of my passenger door ! Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cannot get me head around this now, I always take care where I park and often do the diagonal park across two spaces. Hopefully the z can be fixed by one of those mobile dent repair guys as the paint has not be broken.

Some people have no respect for their own vehicle so no respect for others, pisses me right off to be honest, im always very careful about how i get out of my car especially when im in the zed, due to its long doors, but others just don't care bud.

 

im surprised i haven't got big dents in my zed from using it as a daily for the past 8 months.

 

If the paint hasn't been broken on your passenger side door, should be able to get paint less dent removal out to do that.

i all ways park across two bays ... and i get flap for it too ... every time at asda i get letters left on my wiper ... but fook it i say if ppl can not treat others property with respect why should i do as asked by other ppl ....

i had some one key the side of my car few months ago ... got it resprayed week later 2 big dints/scratches on the same side it just fooks me right off

Nice beemer jeff. Bet the cops love your plates! I always park at the end of a line of spaces if I'm out in the Z, I've gone home before when I cant park in a reasonable space :lol: Must admit the parent and baby spaces we can now park in is a godsend. Just waiting to shout at someone now who misuses them... been close a few times and next time I wont hold back... lol

Mmm... well been stopped twice for them and both times the cops did the "hello guess your Jeff then? " and both times had a short chat about the beemer, V8 sound etc and then let me off...

Lucky you... if you were 20 years younger I think he would have been a bit more harsh! Looks the same font as lots of Irish cars have, Gary Wilson always has plates like that?

That is sadly true mate....

 

......I have my "own" parking space at Sainsburys now - right at the back of the car park on the very end; so I can park a good foot over the line to give me sufficient space between me and the next bay.

 

Sad thing is, 9/10 times I get back to the car only to find an MPV has STILL parked too close for comfort. One time, I returned to my car and saw a poxy geek in his Zafira with the rear door actually resting on the side of my Z. When I challenged him about it, he had the cheek to say "What's your problem, it's only a car!!"

 

Big mistake - I replied "Yes, but it's MY car and people like you need to learn some respect for other peoples' property" So I promptly slammed his door shut - which happened to close right on his own careless hand!!!

 

Now if he had turned to me and said "I'm so sorry mate, I didn't realize" I'd still have been pissed off, but I would have been more reasonable. But no, he just could not see he was in the wrong. Boils my piss that there are arseholes like that wherever you go!!!

 

I'm pleased your BM got sorted though Jeff - it looks like they matched the colour up nicely too matey!!

Heh heh, I know mate - but when I have a passenger; there is no room for the child seat in the boot, if I need to put my shopping in there!!!
