hand brake light stays on

Hey All,

This is my first time on this message board and also my first 300zx, and I must say I love it. The first prob i have is that my hand brake light started to flicker on and off and now just stays on all the time. Could any one shed any light on this? or am i having a brain block.

Any hel;p on this would be very kind.

Could just need the handbrake adjusting.

hey mate,

Have tried that but no change. Bit strange. Only had the car a couple of weeks and my god are these things FAST!!!!!!!!

It's probably down to the brake fluid level being low.

hi,

the prob. might be the switch try disconnecting it for a few days and see if the light still flashes on,if it does you have a short circuit under the carpet, can you make the light come on and off by bouncing on the seat ...etc.

you will have to look deeper..
