I was asked by a friend to come and have a look at his mates red uk tt auto zed as he's thinking of parting with it.
I was told that the car had been sitting for quite a long time, but it was once a cover car.
When i got there, the car looked quite nice from a distance, nice kit, very nice wheels etc.
When i got close up though, i could tell that it was in a very bad state of disrepair.
There was mold and moss in various places, the laquer was peeling and had blatently not had a single once of love for god knows how long!
I had a little feel under the blended skirts only to find the sills literally turning to dust! such a shame, as the bloke told me when he bought it about 5 years ago it cost him 9 grand!!!!
Any way i let the bloke know that as far as the shell is concerned, it had pretty much had it and not to get his hopes up on getting much for it.
I did say to him however that if broken would be worth quite a bit (no where near the price he paid for it though).
I was going to take some photo's to see if anyone recognised it or not and if anyone was interested in buying it to strip, but as soon as i went to take the photo's the battery in my camera died.
i will be getting some photo's of it in the next few day to put up so if anyone is interested then get in contact
