this first one is behind/ beneath the stereo. Anyone know what it does or where it's meant to be connected?

Black box is the rear tail light sensor, normally found behind the drivers side plastic in the boot. The connector from under the stereo looks similar to the clock plug or to the auto selector.

Ah, I don't have the clock anymore so that'll probably explain that!

Graham your so helpful, thanks

Yeah mate, actually in my car this year :)

The garage in scotland were useless, I eventually took it to Phil in Manchester (should have known to go there first tbh) and he sorted it out so I have pentroof style manifolds on it now, nice tubular things.

It's going down to be mapped by john dixon on September 1st unless he drops me in it for some reason (I hope not).

The only problems I seem to have at the minute is the windscreen washers, the fog light seem to not be working for some reason or other.

On a plus side I've done a couple of jobs lately.

So today I have sorted the back lights out...

I cant go another year to JAE in primer lol, will be embarrassing, i want to polish it for the first time in two years instead of rubbing it down

You have done a good job on them window trims Lee. What did u use that plasticdip stuff?

my friend,

how or/and what did you do on those window seals and chrome trims, as that is my next task...

I did it with plastidip and used the primer too. They have actually started to harden reall. Nice now as well. I'll take some more pictures when I get a chance.

Also I took mine off completely. Wasn't too hard at all to be honest. Found they slid out fairly easy but harder to put back in. So ended up putting in the platic bit (long stop under the bits you actually see) then purring it back on the car. Only learned the easy way after getting it wrong a couple of times.

I know mate, sorted my back lights out finally too. I'm also going to get it mapped on 01/09 ai hoping it'll be running nicely at jae.

Just want to sort my front wing now which is fine, just I can see the colour mis-match which is doing my head in.

Not too sure what I want to do after that. The side skirts aren't too great so maybe them as they are pretty much the only thing letting it down now.

I also want to install my carpc but I don't know where to start so have left it alone lol
