what are you having issues with? i have the Bose speakers wired to aftermarket amps, is it the connector on the actual box its self as i could go and have a check for you as to how i have mine wired in, are you actually trying to use the speaker amps as well? or wire directly to the speakers?

Yeah I was wanting to use the amps in the boxes. just curious as to weather i'll need to run a new feed and if i'm going to need a switch.

This is the circuit diagram for the Bose system (individual amps in the speaker boxes).

Looking at the drawing it appears I was right, the extra two wires are a switched 12v feed for the amps. Going to assume that my car wasn't fitted with the extra relay and the additional wires ran so i'll have to somehow run a switched supply to the boot. just need somewhere to put the switch.
