Another big thanks to Zedworld....!!

Jeff and Jamie have worked their magic again....

.....For the first time my blue ZX had actually let me down by dumping coolant on my garage floor whilst parked. The culprit? A dead water-pump!! So one visit to Zedworld today and Jeff fitted a new waterpump - plus a shiney brand new Nissan viscous fan (oh and a new cam-belt just to be safe, since he had the front of the engine off); now all is well again!!

Thanks guys; the car is back to its normal happy self once more!!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Makes sense to change the cambelt if the water pump is being changed, well done Zedworld.

Nice one Zedworld and lucky you wernt driving it Rich when it let go.

It has been leaking for a while most probably mate!! Jeff says that luckily they leak less whilst the engine is running; hence the puddles under the car after it had been left for a week. Which is fortunate as Zedworld is a 100 mile drove for me - so it meant I could top up the rad and still make the trip without too much risk of running out of coolant en route!!

It was nice too that Jeff showed me the car with the front stripped off - it was really interesting to see a Z-expert at work. I'd not attempt the job myself but Jeff made it look soo easy!!
