Hi guys.

I went and picked my zed up yesterday morning, had a nice steady cruise back as wanted to get used to the car, but also due to the fact it was raining for most of it. I can't fault the car, it drives spot on, so so much different to what I've been used to. Roads dried out a little in the afternoon so went out for a play, I can see me using a lot of petrol as I don't seem to be wanting to get out it lol.

Anyway, on to the point of this thread, took it out tonight to see a mate, noticed on the way home that the indiglow dash lights weren't working. Got home and it appears to be the switch for colour/brightness as I gave this a bit of a wiggle about and they did come on, but when letting the switch go they went off again.

I would assume then its just a dodgy connection on the switch????? Anybody else had this issue with them and if so how was it resolved?

I had the same issue, the inverter eventually gave out as well and almost set my car alight, if the switch isnt secured, the wires tend to wiggle, you can resold the connections if you are good enough and have a small enough solder tip, or just do what i did and buy a new inverter and brightness adjuster from http://www.visual-performance.co.uk/#/fitting-guide/4534196012 for some reason they put the replacement inverter add on the fitting guide page of the website lol

It will be a wire needed resoldering from the switch, i think the switch was fitted under the light pod IIRC.

Cheers guys, I've got a mate with a steady hand and is good at soldering so will get him to have a look, if no joy with that then will look into getting the replacement part from the link.

put a picture up of the dials, if they are the ones I supplied, I'll see if i have a new control pad somewhere :)

Ok, no worries, thanks for having a look for me though. Will get my mate to re solder the wires and go from there.
