Hi all,

As some of you may be aware I was very excited about a purchase of an Apexi AVCR from Xpress Motorsports in the US.

The thing was supposedly despatched on April the 3rd. The weeks have gone by and no still no AVCR.

Have mailed Chris & Jason Prenovost who handle the order, guess what ?? no response.

Today I finally got though on the Phone and spoke to a very nervous person who answered as Xpress Graphics. He said the Xpress Motorsports has been closed and Chris & Jason no longer work here.

This guy gave me some other numbers but I have had no luck tracking down these guys down.

I have lost just over £300 and I paid with my Debit Card so I really have lost it.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to persue this.

Sensible anwers please, then silly ones I need cheering up.

Ta

get on the ttnet and ask some questions there one or two fo the guys are pretty good at tracking down people, and speak to the bank, and explain im sure they can reverse the payment

good luck

Definately post this message on twinturbo.net !

They might be able to help you there and track down these guys (with or without an assault-group)

I have bought both my AVC-R and AFC from them.

It was over a year ago and there were no problems then.

Wonder what happened...

Sorry to hear that mate,

Post it, on tt.n, you cant be the only one.

Be rude, be accurate, but be patient.

Hear all, see all, take note- then wait.

The writen word works wonders!

I'll send the pic's soon.

Good luck, harve.

Thanks guys for your advice.

I have tried TT net and you can look for yourselves. Our good friends in the US are not as helpfull as I would have hoped. I might try a more direct approach with my posts but I wanted to be subtle first.

Had a meeting with the Bank Manager today she said if I can get as much info about my transactions and details on the company they will try and sort it out.

This could take a min of 50 days but it's something.

See ya for now.

Now using a tyre valve dust cover to regulate 9 psi of boost (better than 6). Imported from Halfords Chelmsford ;-)

Eddie, I've seen your message and I think you were a *little* bit too subtle...you didn't mention you ordered from them and they're trying to rip you off..

Usually magic words in the title like *I've been ripped of by ..* or *whatever you do, do not order from...* do the trick.

As Harve said: be rude, accurate and patient.

PS: you can use welding tips also.

0.045 for 13-14psi

0.055 for 11-12psi
