well seems like every week im asking for help, starting to think i should have thrown the towel in a long time ago, too late now im stuck with it lol.
i got a load of bits turn out from z1 as well as my new (used) box, was planning to do alot of work on it saturday, but it seems to have developed another worrying fault.
was sitting in the work car park letting it warm up before going home, and one of the mechanics came running over with a huge grin to say "your zeds smoking"....
large amount of blue smoke out of one side, defiantly oil, after insulting me and it for a few mins they finally tried to help diagnose the problem, as its not smoked since the engine was out.
was smoking with the revs, so must be getting into the cylinders somehow. , however we couldn't see any evidence of anything in the intake, was once it warmed up, its had new pcv valves and pipes fitted a few weeks ago, turbos should be good,
well we all gave up and i went to drive it home, followed by a mechanic, gave it a boot full and it made a nice big plume of blue smoke then stopped smoking altogether. had it running for ages once it was home and its fine???
??? when it smoked before it was only at traffic lights, and was the turbo seals, this is very different.
any one got any ideas? dont want to ask mechanics again as im propably not going to hear the end of this for a few weeks. :sweatdrop:
