problems starting from cold

i dont use my zed from one day to the next weekends mostly when i turn the key for the first time it fires but only just fires then a touch of the pedal and shes running on choke ,when i first got my zed it started and ran on choke without touching the pedal at all

anyone got any ideas before i hassel jeff (again)

    what kind of standard maintenance do you do?

     

    when was it's last full service?

    what did you replace?

    when did you check all the connectors for corrosion or good contact?

    when did you replace the plugs and what with?

    had the fuel pressure been checked? and or do you have any leaks in the fuel rail?

    batter charge, is it holding well?

    have you tried a fuel additive cleaner and has it been for a good run up the motor way?
