What a difference a week makes, the sun came with blue skys and a super weekend, not one to let the grass grow , we cracked open the party mood, got the bouncey castle up, a couple of gazebos to house the drink and music and invited 40 odd family and friends, what a day, we had an old fashioned street party theme with sandwiches with the crusts cut off, cream teas, jelly and ice cream, strawberries, and the odd drink or too!!

 

Was a hot relaxed day and a barmy evening with the final guests leaving as it got dark having watched the sunset over the fields it was magical, reminded me of days when I was a kid when simple things just seemed more fun!! then we had to tidy up!!!!!!!!!
