My Dad is starting a new business, the website has gone live but Google doesn't find it. Can you visit it to get the hit rate up (or make a booking LOL).

 

Does anybody know how to get it up the google list?

Start off by doing this:

Search engines will crawl his site and add to the search listings automatically. Make sure there are lots of keywords in the index page, it looks fine for that anyway...

Also the more often he updates the site the better, also tell him to get it on twitter and Facebook!

ranking works on unique ip address that visit his web site can get a generator that creates ip addresses thus putting him on the front pages,but like been said cross referance key words and friends work the best
