Its that time of the year to sign up for another 18 months with Orange!! I can have all of the above phones on my current tarrif, which would you lot have?

 

lets not start an AnDrOiD and Apple war:laugh: I just need good honest advice, but I do prefer Android :)

im going fir sony xperia s, hd video and a great 3d camera, does things quite well, my boss has it and im gonna upgrade it this or next weekend

in this order

 

Iphone 4s - the best all rounder

HTC one - The fastest

OTHER - better than the S3 lol

samsung s3 - pfft, if i had no other choice

well i love my xperia X10 and this is similar but faster and smoother, also a good camera is a must for me

A lot of people I know rave about the s3 say it's a lot better than the iPhone fore I prefer the iphone

the S3 just seems to big for me, when im at work i dont want to be carrying that thing about, its why i havent even considered it

I wouldnt mate, dont like sony phones, never have.

only people who complain about the iphone (from experience) are those who can not see anything other than samsung signs when they close their eyes.

 

Im yet to find a phone as smooth and responsive as the iphone, as for the camera, the 4s does fine, ive uploaded photos up onto the forum that came from my Iphone 4 and even had some "nice photos vodds" comments as well.

 

Being an iphone lover, if i went for a different phone away from apple now, it would hands down be the HTC one, that thing is the *****cks compared to any other phone and definatly on par with the iphone 4s

Easy choice - The S3 is by far the best phone on the market.

 

Before the S3 came out, the S2 was still the best phone on the market.

 

My Wife has the iPhone 4s and its great for her needs, but it can not compare to my S2.

 

The Iphone 5 will try and be a S3 rival, the 4s is not.

just be different from the crowed and go for the HTC one, its much better than that galaxy 3 thing, faster, smarter and just plain better build. other wise go for the iphone 4s.

 

Why not go into the shop and ask for a test of all 4 then pick which one you want, that would the best option

The only trouble is, I currently have the HTC Desire s ,I love it, its great, but I fancied a change :)

People are often very bias about the phone they personally own and usually pretty clueless about every other phone out there....Defending a mediocre phone against all competitors just because its the one they purchased.

 

Vodka has tried to slag of the S3 in every post in this thread (while complaining about people that do it to the iphone) , but its the clear winner in every review ever made against all the top phones.

 

The iPhone 4s is a well built product with a nice simple interface, and it would of been a decent choice a year ago, but its way behind the current market options.

As vods says go in and have a try mate iv been working in Vodafone all week and see a lot of people doing just that. I just play on the display iPads lol

i think all phones have their merit, but after years of trying different phones and being a nokia fan i tried the sony erricson, never tried anything else since, i love my X10 and if it wasnt for the fact that im paying more than i could and i can get a free phone i wouldnt bother changing, but i can get a free sony s, unlimited internet 300 mins and thousands of texts for £36 a month with 02

 

and for another argument i have never had a prob with 02, not even with the downtime from a few days ago (seemed to affect all newer phones?)

i slate it for very good reason, its a brick horribly constructed, the interface was ripped right off the iphone.

 

Me and my mate compared the two side by side, using different functions and the same apps to see how they preformed, including buying a app, ease of use and other things, and i have to say we both noticed that the simplest thing like scrolling the screen on the s3 was jerky the iphone 4s out preformed it for web browsing and he couldn't even find an app that is stated on the main app website that its available on the android store.

 

Did the same with my mates HTC one, and that thing is awesome, much better than the s3. i wouldn't be recommending things based on a biased view just because i own an iphone.

 

Im a tech geek, and i have to try everything new, im not afraid of change especially if it means i can have something better.

 

But sorry, the S3 just really doesnt do it for me, my mate even went and traded his S3 in for the 4s and he was adamant he wouldn't lol

I've got an S2 and its great - never had any problems with it. It outperforms many of my friends iphone's of various generations on different stuff.

 

I've not tried an S3 but I assume it can only be better - although it is pretty massive.

 

Someone at my work got an HTC One-X a couple of weeks ago and has already had to send it back under warranty... HTC's are prone to stuff going wrong
