I`m just hunting for a new laptop and came across this, can anyone recommend something better in the same(ish) price braket or does this seem a good price?

 

Laptop will be used for general web browsing, taking on hols to watch movies, store pictures, a bit of office work and obviously look at this forum :D

tbh mate, unless you want to edit video or play the latest games then your original choice is fine. You don't need an i3 or 8GB of ram to browse the web so your just wasting money on anything more powerful. That fujitsu laptop will do everything you mentioned you want it for including giving you full access to infinty2 through the wireless connection.

Yeh fair point :) as you say I/we have the pc for top end stuff and the lappy will be doing light stuff, I just wanted a slightly better brand, but Fujitsu isnt bad I suppose :) thanks for the input dude :)

I said I would have the laptop, but then you had it instead. Suppose it was easier for Ryan due to part/exing but I did say I wanted it only to be told it may be going to you with no further communication after that. Didn't care in the end that you had it, but I was potentially buying it on behalf of someone else who missed out on the opportunity of buying another laptop elsewhere. Not the way I like to conduct business.

 

The second bit is about Chris and his lack of communication regarding Dazvert's website.

That has nothing to do with me though, and I think your comment about red fonts was totally out of order. Mods do not get any special privilages in any way shape or form.

 

I sent Ryan a PM, early on when he advertised the laptop, and the next thing I know he said it was mine by telephone. I wasn't at home at the time, so couldn't see what was happening, I was on my way to a classic car show when I received the telephone call. KJZ32 was at said show and can vouch for me being there. So please find out facts before making silly assumptions.

You stated about red fonts, hinting that mods get favourable privilages, which is not nor ever will be the case. This statement hinted that it was me at fault, which was the silly assuption, as it was not.

You can draw whatever conclusion you want from the statement, at no point did I blame you for any of what happened. Like I said I blame the seller, I said I will take it and he said 'ok will pm you now'.

So why the reference to red fonts? It's obvious you were hinting at mods getting privilages that subbed or registered users don't. I'm not going to argue over it, but I will say again that I think your comment about red fonts was out of order.

I think you are making an uneccesary drama over nothing. The words 'mods are getting privilages that subbed or registered users don't' do not appear in any of my above posts. Whether I mentioned RED FONTS or not is irrelevent. Ryan may have rather have sold to a mod over me which is fine, he may have even been swayed by the fact that you are a mod but that would be purely his fault, not yours. The real reason was that it was easier for him due to having something off you, again something I mentioned in a previous post. What I didn't like was the lack of communication his end. At no point did I say it was down to you.

Like I say I am not going to argue over it, and I don't make drama's out of anything, but in my opinion your reference to red fonts was uncalled for, I really don't see why you had to say anything about red fonts in the first place if like you say you are not blaming me!! I wil end the conversation at that, as this is getting way off topic. Daz, if you want the thread cleaning up just give me a shout.

Without wishing to make things any worse here, what excatley does "Red fonts" refer to on this forum.

Hey buddy thanks for that it looks a great lappy, but.... I`ve bought one last night :) I bough the Fujitsu one in my 1st post, but fook!!!!!! would have bought that one instead if i had seen it sooner, I was on E-buyer aswell and didnt notice that one, never mind ,it will do for what i need it to do

I got my one delivered today mate. It's not going to blow your socks off but it's great for the price. The only think I don't like is the keyboard, it feels a bit plasticey. Saying that though, I haven't found a laptop keyboard I do like :laugh:

ah!!!! Nice one steamer, yeh I`m not expecting a Sony Viao or Alien w, but for £279 will be more than ample for me :D cant wait to fill it up with movies and music for my hols!!!!! :D
