ps3 conbtroller problem

does anyone know how to fix,a ps3 controller,It was working fine before I moved from england back to scotland, after a month i finally got a chance to plug it back on butb the controller wont work even if I plug the usb cable in all I get is 4 flashing lights on the controller nothing works :(

and I have tried re syncing it but as said it wont work with the usb cable

    Dont format the hard drive just yet............

     

    Reset the controller, on the back theres a place where you can place a pin to reset it just above the top right of the sticker, then do as you've mentioned and you should find it.
