My Z is in the dealers at the mo and the mechanic who deals with my baby all the time "thinks" that there is a very very slight big end "rattle" when dropping the revs from @ (I think) 3000.

If I go for an engine rebuild to cure this plus a few mods who/where does anyone recommend, preferably a dedicated ZX garage like grasshopper but open to any ideas.....

Please bear in mind that me & the Z are in Cornwall!

Personally, I would recommend an engine specialist like Progress Engineering.... they're not quick or cheap, but have now had a few Z engine rebuilds and know their stuff.
