Among many issues have found the main cause of your engine running problem, pictures below, inlet cam and exhaust cam wrongly timed, correct ignition timing of 15deg tdc cannot be achieved, who fitted the cambelt for you? called your work today and left a message with one of your guys but not sure he understood who I was, need your ok to carry on.

PMSL!! probably one of the easiest cambelts to do! Most fords were piss easy back then

 

I remember doing my Capri OHC when it snapped - done it at the side of the road in about 20 mins LOL!!

 

I know loads of techs that hate cambelts though - a few of my guys get worried as all of our engines have always been chain drives & when they get a car with a cambelt to do it is like a major panic!! :lol:
