Anyone got a spare zx user manual for a JAP spec auto, Fairlady - or as my work coleagues call it - with much hilarity - A Nissan LadyBoy

 

Being in Japanese i hope your Kanji knowledge it up to spec, i couldn't read 40% of it when i had a look.

 

They are pretty rare as they are totally useless to most, best best is to get a peak of a UK one, or American NA one, there might be one on Ebay somewhere.

Paul Bailey at paulbailey.com will sell you a geniune Nissan workshop manual for £30 (retail over a £100 I think). It is the absolute muts nuts and a must for all Z owners. It caters for most variations of the Z32 including both L/H and R/H drive Z's. It's about 3 inches thick. Ask a woman if your unsure on how wide that is!

...just read your plea re user manual (glove box book?). I had the same problem with my jap import - no manual. After much time I got a colleague in the States to buy one (in return for a Triumph TR4 handbook). So I have a 'new' 1990 glove box book. I dont have a photocopier but am willing to post it to you to copy if you want. mail me at Jack.Thompson@2cs.com and we can sort it.

Sorry JR, Hand book not workshop manual. This is what I did. I called Nissan UK and pretended that I had purchased a 1990 UK spec Z and that it didn't come with the hand book. They sent me one for free. Obviously there are differences between UK and Jap sepc (other than the language). It's up to you!
