The one in red is the oem boost solenoid. Can't remember if the yellow pipes are vac lines or the throttle water pipe or a combination of both, it's been a while since I removed mine :) Someone will know for sure though.

yellow pipes are EGR, cant remember if they both are or if one is AIV. Either way you can sack them off :yes:

I ditched mine but maybe should have kept them as they can still put the car into safety boost if anything goes wrong with the ebc. It's up to you really.

ill be fitting a greddy profec B boost controller so can i ditch the oem boost solenoid?

 

yes, but people on here say leave them in the loop so you have safety boost if things go wrong. not sure if that works or how much truth is in it, but I binned mine off.

I was about to bin mine and Jeff advised me not to.....

 

So up to you take them off.. might be a little risk involved...

 

or listen to the UK's foremost authority on Zd's..... Mmmmmmm like I said I left mine on...

 

If your EBC goes on the fitz, (or someone sets it wrong) they are you saviour...
