Anyone heard of this/done it.

 

Just read about it in Demon Tweeks mag.

 

They claim it can reduce under bonnet temperatures by up to 70% !!!!!

Can the turbo's be wrapped as well ?

yes,

thats the idea,but just the exhaust side not the whole turbo,also makes you're turbos spin up factional quicker due to increased gas velocity,highly recomended on things to do for more performance,greater reliablity

These guys provide a prompt service. Get the full turbo kit and you'll have enough to do about erm... 6 zeds !!! you get soooo much material for your dosh. Don't forget to also get the protection spray paint - Tweeks do this. Looks damn fine in silver too - I'll post some pics once I've taken them

When you insulate the turbo to reduce the heat going into the bonnet don't the turbos get even more hot which is bad for them?

 

Also I woud assume more hot turbos mean a high possibility of heat soak back up the exhuast pipes to the engine which is good for detination?

 

Maybe they take longer to cool down when you stop also.

 

Just some questions as the wrap sounds good, but I'm not sure on a turbo car.
