When I came to work the other day I found that eBay was blocked also anything to do with internet auctions like sniping websites

Is there anyway I can watch eBay at work have heard of people say they can log into there pc from home is that possible?

Please someone safe me from my dilemma

Is it potentially worth a disciplinary over?

 

You need a proxy or use something like logmein.com - but I'm not sure if either would work to be honest

Use an Ebay app on your mobile phone ...

or team viewer to access your home pc from work?

my work decided to block my computer from ebay, youtube, facebook etc. i looked around the until i found this code

notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

copy and paste it into the windows run bit and it lets you unblock what ever has been blocked.

it worked for me anyway.

I would ask yourself; why has it been blocked? I used to be a desktop support manager and If I found that a block had been removed by a user then that user would be in a lot of trouble.

Lol I wish I could use my moblile but I work underground so no signal at all log me in sounds good or team viewer are they free, I don't want to unblock anything and get into trouble but I do have needs for my zed lol
