sold me, im going to fill up with it again when I get petrol tomorrow (just worried i won't actually make it there at the moment, very low on petrol)

 

 

I live near Seattle, Washington. The best you can get here is Trick racing fuel (101 octane). It costs $4.80 per gallon (about 3 lbs.), compared to $1.70 for 92 octane premium.

 

Trick runs much better, and allows me to pretty much advance the timing to the limit without ever getting det.

Normal unleaded 95 Octane =73p litre (aprox)

= £3.31 a UK Gallon (4.54 litres)

= £2.75 a US Gallon (3.78 litres)

This is for standard fuel

 

Optimax is 97/98(dont know for sure) Octane and round here is about 77p a litre

= £3.49 a UK Gallon

= £2.91 a US Gallon

 

But I find I get 2mpg more round town and 3-5 more on a longer trip with optimax.
