My o2 sensors are being a right pain is there any trick I can use to remove them easier?

Thanks in advance,

Dave.

if they're dead, I'm sure you can just cut the wires and use a large deep socket over them ;)

They're good I would like to reuse them, I've been told a blow torch can help, is this true?

You could cut the wires near the plug and resolder them. You will find it very hard to remove the o2 sensors if they've been on the car for any length of time.

If they're good why are you removing them mate?

I have bought some aftermarket downpipes, so wanted to just re-use my lambda sensors as there is nothing wrong with them, but as its only £80 delivered for some new AMS ones I might do that and sell on my old ones.
