tbh Jane, it's only got 107BHP. It may look very nice but I think you will be very disappointed with the performance. You'd be better of with your Lexi imho.

Get a 1 series diesel. Great family bus. And good money at the moment!

I'll have a look. If Marc gets refused on finance then we'll consider running 2 cars again possibly & get sommat like a diesel. It's all in the air for now. Just need a car with no issues that's def gonna get us to nursing placements. Managed ok til now as they've been local but I've got a commute at the moment & forthcoming placements are likely to be further afield. This is affordable for us & with such low mileage it's almost brand new

S40 diesels after 2001 have cheaper tax, 115/102 bhp and are ace on fuel.

 

Engine is 15 yrs proven.... And they're dirt cheap to buy.

 

Sport lux have kit and full leather too! :)

 

If you can get over the name you can't do better...... Unless you go for the s60/80 d5.... All same pros ( bar tax due to being 2.5d ) but a bigger car if you need it.....

 

Check some out, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. :)

The IS is cool! Apparently the new ae86!! (not my words, drift kings!)

 

I'm sure the mitsi will be a good bus with that engine it'll certainly be economical :)

The IS is cool. I can see why it's used for drifting. It does handle superbly. We'll just see. I'd be surprised if we got finance with us both being student nurses but stranger things happen!!

I think I'd buy an IS if I didn't have the z32. That or an m5 :)
