Fuel rail thoughts........

Ive heard that no.6 injector can suffer from low fuel pressure due to being the last one on the rail and furthest from the fuel feed inlet.......and was wondering if there is any advantage to blocking the the original fuel inlet on the rail and introducing a tee-piece into the hose that joins the two sides of the rail at the front, so theoritically both sides of the rail are feed from a central point and the pressure should be fairly equal on both sides........discuss :)

good idea.. one problem how you going to get to the T at the front with all the throttle linkage in the way .. bearly room for just the joining pipe there

and how do you them control the pressure on the rails without the return regulator and outlet?

I don't know but I think there are possible problems there.

there will be a fuel reg ...

fuel filter outlet gets T to two pipes each one goes to each rail at front or back ...

then 2 pipes on the out of the rail going to the main fuel return T in to one then Pressure reg

i dont see nothing wrong with the idea its ...

the Problem u going to have is the Front pipes getting your Main feed in or out... on with out fouling the throttle linkage

Will have a look at it once my plenums off.......one thought I have got is an angled tee and doing away with the cruise control cable bit on the throttle linkage (ive binned the cruise control on mine) to see if that gains more clearance or see if I can mod the ends of the rail at the back of the engine to somehow create a 360° rail.........must be a way round it somehow with a bit of brazing etc :)
