Ok since engine rebuild my idle isnt nice ...

 

you can rev it but then its up and down with in 100/150rpm

 

will tell you what i have tested and replaced

 

Tested 3 Maf's with and with out silien kit

Replaced Idle Control valve

no vac leaks tested up to 25psi

changed spark plugs for warmer ones

all connections are spot on

Timing Belt is spot on

15btdc pin 44 shorted

TPS 0.44

Base Idle done

Complete EGR Delete

 

 

just not sure ?

yes m8 there unortherdox pulleys but as you can see the Sprocket the belt/timing slot/dots all align up ..

put the pulley on and that aligns up with 0*

Did you have a look at your IACV on the back of the plenum? Did any crap get in there whilst rebuilding or it may be dirty from before?

its the Map on the ECU Chip ...

think JD's chip isnt right on something injector timing/pulse ... not sure but i have a Back up one from AndyP ...

 

popped it in and hay presto all ticks over fine and no flat spots I'm Well happy :)

Nice work. Could it be the wrong spark plug gap for the chip?

ok think i spoke a little to soon ....

 

Tick over and rough running has gone but i get a

stutter/miss fire around 4k

i'm going to swap out my old plugs thats in there used for testing and refit my ngk7 ..

tomorrow see what happens

 

only boosting at 11psi ( stock ) but with this cheap the AFR on boost is sitting at 10>11 ...

think this is way to Rich .. as with JD chip is was more like 12>13

 

it only happends if u put your foot down hard .. other wise u do it nicely its fine

Lol, so is this working alright with the JD chip now?

I thought the TPS was supposed to be set at 0.50......guess I'll be resetting mine to 0.44 then!
