And it seems to have worked :) Treated the targa seals with ground nut oil as per advice on here, its raining and no drips....well not till I get in lol

I do mine regular........got a bottle from tescos for about £2.50 :).i do my boot seal etc with it as well

Its a natural oil that swells rubber and makes it more supple......just wipe it on, leave for 5-10 mins then wipe off excess.wd40 amd stuff like the drys rubber out and can make it brittle.

 

It also works well on rubber camcover seals etc! :)

i got a bottle of peanut oil to mine with too. although since buying it, i have either not had a chance because i've been too busy or as usual its been pi55in down with rain.

saying that though, i have just replaced my targa's and the new one's leak alot less than my old ones. i would obviously prefer no leak at all so will just have to find the time as soon as poss.

it is good for all the black exterior plastics and rubbers, works much better than anything like that back to black for keeping the colour from fading.

Heat also brings back the black, use either a hairdryer or heat gun, the trick is to make it go black, not burn the crap out of it lol
