:lol: I had a gland problem in my neck but it's sorting itself out now.. It would swell up instantly if I eat anything and I would start sweating feeling really dizzy and then I'd throw up. Plus I'd get pins and needles in my hands and feet...??

 

Thought it was my super powers coming through but it turned out to be a viral infection. I actually had to go to the docs about it. lol

So have your super powers returned yet, or has the virus completely wiped them out? Are you sure the Dr wasn't actually a nemesis in disguise and secretly stole your mojo?!! Keep me informed :ninja:

mmmmm, retro sweets, loved blackjacks. Used to get 10p from my mum to get a mixture when I was sent for her fags. How times have changed...

I used to get 5p, so I'm either MUCH older or we were MUCH poorer lol!! And me mum smoked Cadets at the time, remember them?!!

Aww. I used to get a qtr of Cola Cubes from a proper sweetshop with all the big jars on high shelves when I was walking to school as well :)

When I was a teenager (cue the music from the Hovis ad!) I worked in a sweetshop in Portsmouth called Gilbert's. Been owned and run by the same family for over 100 years. My Grandma used to go there when she was a nipper, so she used to tell me. It hasn't changed a bit, still got the original wooden shelves, full of jars, and hand made wooden display trays for the sweets to go in the window. Popped in there when we went back to Pompey at Easter, its a brilliant place
