Busy busy busy is the name of the month in September, what with Trax, JAE and now if you wish, Japshow finale on the 30th of September at Santapod poddington, wellingborough.

 

We had an awesome turn out for japshow and would like to get 300zx.co.uk as a regular attendee.

 

So with that in mind, im drawing up interest for this event, pending numbers, and ill book us in again, we need a minimum of 10 guaranteed people who are going to attend to book a club stand so dont hold back, get your name down and lets make this years September one of the best yet.

I may have a little ride up the strip but havent done anything to it since the last run so cant expect any more than mid 16's...still makes me smile though :)

want to but dodgy turbo makes me say no :(. Was fun when I was in denial about it but know I know not keen.

Agree entirely Steve. Im just getting back in to it after a longish absense. Its not that important what time you do as long as its fun.

Launching against TTs is good fun really. I have beaten the odd one in the past with a mid 14s run.

Im not sure if this motor I have now is that good. Or if the driver is??

Had some good days at York...slightly faster strip if I recall correctly...but very different to Da Pod

Normally a bit slower at York. Track is still pretty rough but a great friendly atmosphere and good to run in classes too.

I can remember there was a slight difference but could'nt remember which way, looked for my old Pod and YR slips but I think they went in a folder that went to essebee with the old slicky...

Its a pity Dave Chung from PHNW never kept his motorvation and his n/a..he had done a lot of work to his car and planned on running it at the strips. Must have a cuppa with him and see what he,s up to these days. sorry to ramble:blushing:

Yep i think he dropped out of the whole 300ZX scene.

His 14.56 best run topped my 14.57 best.

I aim to reclaim the top time. Im not sure it will be this time round tho. It might be next season.
