If you can afford go for a go-pro HD!!! awesome kit, if budget is a bit tighter try a kodak playsport, both mega tough, record in 1080p and the kodak is water proof so you can take in on hols and film fish or women :)

was looking at the ebay jobbys as

dont need anything fancy as i have my decent photo cam for that

its going to stay in the car all the time

i know there not the best of brands but still do 1080p @ £40>60

If they record in 1080p then they should be fine, just make sure the frame rate is good 60fps, the cheapo one`s seem to have a slow frame rate and everything is a bit jerky!!!

thats the thing ... they dont tell you lol

so i will take it as 25fps as thats Normal vid flic

60fps is quite a high speed cam most things on the market dont even do that

just get a go pro, once you get one of them and see the video quality, you will find new ingenious ways of mounting it to everything and it will soon prove its worth.

most of the cheap ones are about 30fps, it doesn't neccessarly mean the speed you watch it ,its the speed it records in, so a 30 fps will record 30 frame`s in that second, and a 60 ,60fps, so when played back there is so much more info and the playback is smooth :)

sorry wrong one

start going faster fps 200fps and then everything slows into slow mo!!

in laymans terms mark, what daz is trying to say, with a cheapo video slap on recorder, due to the digital nature of it, low frame rate = jelly effect on videos when movement is present. the whole screen acts like jelly, where as with a decent frame rate you can almost eliminate it.

This is my mate Danny`s footage with the kodak, attached on his model plane, he`s model mad!!!
