I did have actually but I binned it! Trouble is for my setup is that it's not strictly speaking a double din. I have a carpc and have an 8" touchscreen so the physical opening is a bit bigger than a double din. I had to make another as the first didn't have the viewing angle quite right, also the 1st monitor went tits so I upgraded to a better quality one which needed a different opening.

I know of a supplier of double din surrounds for the zed. got a group buy running on Facebook, but so expensive. Not sure its worth the cash to be honest.

RHD version is in production stages at the moment. He is willing to set up a group buy if we get enough interest. I forwarded him to the club. So Keep eyes peeled.

Yeah I will be ordering my diffuser soon. It appears that a group buy is not allowed on ere as I am not subscribed at the mo.

 

As for the surround, I have emailed him. However if they are producing a rhd version I'll wait for that. A group buy over here would be lovely

So not as bad as I thought for an OEM looking double din, need to change the Jap head unit anyway, and would need something with Euro Nav in the Dash. As Im planning on visiting family in Germany and Italy in the Zed.

$235 ain't a confirmed price. I just wanted to give a ball park so people had a rough idea. I am still waiting on prices and will let you know as soon as I do.

 

Bird, I agree it ain't cheap. However, it is cheaper than the Jap version and comparitive with oem interior pieces.

At that price I think it will only really attract people who really want a double din unit. Having said that, ib is the only option other than DIY.

I know for a lot of you the price with shipping and import tax makes it too expensive. We would like to extend a group buy to this forum. I need to sort out how to do so by the forum rules. Our special pricing was £115 not including shipping. I have a contact in the UK who I can ship a group of the parts to in order to reduce the shipping costs and import tax.

 

These are a completely new part and not a modified version of the factory part.
