Are OEM 300zx wheels directional?

I know they are labelled L & R. Is this to direct and aid airflow to the breaks? Or just so they look the same each side?

I prefere the spoke design when they are on the wrong sides. But if it aids brake cooling ill keep my track set the way nissan intended.

Cheers

It is to aid cooling to the brakes, but many have them on the wrong way, and never have any problems that I am aware of.

My rears are the wrong way round :turned: Done by my wheel refurber putting the wrong tyres on the wrong wheels. lol

I've no idea how affective the "cooling" is when they are the right way round....

wonder if that explains the warped calipers of the old alloy ones, not due to the design of the calipers, but because people were getting the wheels put on the wrong way around, thus less cooling lol
