Have you been intouch with the bidder to see if he's genuine?

He's getting a bargain if nobody else bids!

Cheers gents.

Will be interesting to see what it goes for, wonder if there will be any last minute bids.

It would be interesting to see what a 99 spec tt manual goes for, as that was a bargain!!!

I'm so depressed!

Don`t be, your is a tt manual, is it?(hope so) and got nicer seats and a spoiler!!!!! I know its gone for crap money, BUT if you think about it, we can all go out and buy a brand new car for 6k( sh!t i know) but even the 99 spec z32 is getting on for 13 years old!!! not bad really for a 13 year old jap car!! but yes I thought that would have gone for at least 5k!!

Yeah. Some lucky bod has got themselves a hell of a lot of car. If I ever sell mine I will give everybody 6 months notice to save up!!

The winner was an Albanian lad. A nice bloke but didn't speak much English and didn't understand eBay. This was obvious from whe he first bid.

Anyway... he didn't want it for 4k and went back to London. He was very concerned about an advisory on the last MoT for 'very slight' wear in some bushes which Zedworld had since checked out and said wasn't a problem.

Anyway... I ended up selling it to him a few days later for 3500! I must admit I hoped for 4-5K but these things are only worth what someone is prepared to pay for them I guess.

He didn't want the standard wheels (which had good tyres on), standard exhaust and stereo so I'll stick them on eBay soon which might make a few quid.

I've still got a spare (leaky!) headlight which I must give to Slick Pete to complete a deal from several years ago. Sorry Pete, I'll give you a text next time I'm in your neck of the woods.

Fingers crossed I'll get another Zed or maybe an NSX in a few years time.

How much you looking for, for stock exhaust mate?

What sort of condition is it?

Whats the Stereo, is it OEM UK spec? how much again?

Just how the Market is right now Im afraid guys.

They are going for peanuts. As no one wants to pay the fuel, and not many realise how cheap to insure they are.

Think about it, £220 a year fully comp for a 28 year old male. on classic insurance. who cares about economy, Im saving £500+ a year vs insurance on most other cars I have owned.

Any chance of some pictures of the standard stereo please?

I'll stick it all on eBay when I get a chance. Will post up on here when I do.

Exhaust is the centre box and back boxes, good condition but some surface rust on the boxes underneath IIRC.

Stereo is Japanese spec, two parts plus a Sony / Nissan CD changer for the boot. It had a band expander fitted so it picked up UK stations but I don't know if that was in the stereo or in between that and the ariel.

I'm away from the parts so I can't take pictures. I'm not selling anything yet either, thanks for the interest.
