just thought id pop a little message on since i had made a few post regarding my dog ziko. unfortunately we had to put him down today due to a serious eye disease. he only took not well a day and a half ago but already he couldnt see. any treatment we could have given him would have only been for our benefit so instead of him being unhappy we took the decision to put him to sleep. he was such a loving dog and at only 1 and a half was far to young for us to loose. we will miss him loads but we done the best for him.

 

Very sad news mate. But i would say your choice was the correct one.

What a shame. He was beautiful and to lose him so young is heartbreaking.

cheers guys think we are still in a bit of shock, as only 2 days ago i was out with him playing and running around. but today he couldnt even see his ball it was the right decision just hard to take

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

Sorry to hear this Del, I know all to well how much they become part of the family. I dread to think of the time we will have to make a similar decision. I think you've done the right thing and prevented any prolonged suffering the poor thing would have gone through.

Very sad for you matey, dogs become a part of ur family from the start.

aw mate im gutted for you ...such a shame RIP Ziko , but as you said you have done the best for him out of compassion and straight from the heart and he would have thanked you if he could.

RIP Kiko A dog is like your best friend ours is 13 and totaly deaf but cant imagine life without her.
