Apropos of nothing, who makes the turbo's in the ZX.. they're not garrett are they?

Also, what's the big deal with HKS baring turbo's.. are they that good?

They are Garrett turbos.

The HKS turbos allow much greater power and a higher volume of air flow. The ball bearings allow for quicker spool up.

I’m thinking that too, but it’s going to be difficult to stretch to that.
It would at least mean a very well built and strong engine that I know will last.
Keeps it originality a bit too.
going to keep driving it in the mean time and enjoy it and see what happens. Feels like it’s got a terminal illness! 😂

Set of Pistons Purchased in 2020, fitted to my current build and barely run in,
Upgraded to a size bigger so these have sat on the shelf since doing nothing since.
The rods are stock out of a 1996 TT.
Not sure what these are worth so PM me an offer.
