I'm currently doing the auto to manual conversion on my Z.

I've come into possesion of a veilside ECU that's from a manual car with similar mods and age to mine.

 

Is it possible to use this ECU in my car given the engine differences between auto/manual?

 

has anyone tried a manual ECU in an auto car after the conversion?

    You can put an auto ecu in a manual, but not a manual ecu in an auto.

     

    The auto ecu has extra bits, which become redundant in a manual car.
