I have recently changed the dash in my swb n/a import but now the rear lights stay on like they have a live feed to them, the only way to turn them of is disconnect the battery, any ideas? Earthing maybe?

Sounds more like a crossed wire or broken switch if it was a crappy earth it probably just wouldn't work at all or be dim could you have mixed a plug up when you put it all back together?

Well I was wondering if by not having an earth somewhere, a loom may not be live somewhere affecting the lights somehow? However I did find a 30 amp fuse blown for some reason so will find out what it's for and replace it, could this be associated?

I'm pretty sure it's the side lights, but that is a very good point!! Will check brake switch

Sorry if this is a silly suggestion. But try pressing the fog lights button on the right hand pod.

When you say the tail lights, do you mean side lights or brake lights?

Hit the nail on the head! Had just assumed it was side lights, however 1 grab of the brake pedal and a pull heard the brake switch click went to the back of the car to check and haaarraay! Welldone redwine saved me hours of taking the dash back out, thankyou
