I only paid it attention because that's where I always stay when I visit Cornwall..... But good on the fishermen for not killing it just to secure the record!

LOL - true and true mate!! I'm not worried about sharks in the water, more excited that I might actually see one in the wild.....!!

You may see basking sharks in spring sumer on the southcoast quite clearly visable. Why not book yourself on a charter boat and get out there, great day out.

We had one here not so long ago in Portrush harbour

Spent 4yrs working in red sea as diving instructor, dived with hammer heads, whale sharks, tigers, reef sharks etc etc and never had an iffy moment, well maybe once, very nosey oceanic white tip, did find out I can swim through water quicker than a shark can swim through sh*t ! Lol

Don't think i'll be going in the sea to deep down here anymore!! These sharks are cropping up all the time now!

It's when we get Great Whites off the coast that you want to worry. lol

 

Great that the shark was returned unharmed, hate to see people taking "trophies" no need for it at all. That's what camera's are for, well that and and porn.

 

Hope I don't find one of them in me pond :lol:
