my cat converter seems to get stinky quite a lot when im at idle at traffic lights ect,

is this normal or pointing to a more sinister problem, would optimax cause the smell to drop off?

yeah its to do with unburnt petrol in the cat :\ its a bit much though sometimes when you've booted it up to some traffic lights and whilst sitting there you can just smell egg :O)

im going to see if optimax cuts down on the smell, that petrol is meant to do wonders for everything else smile.gif

Eggy smell is supposed to be from the sulphur in the petrol. Maybe you should try the low sulphur stuff - or just keep your window closed at thelights wink.gif
