Draining coolant

Hi,

I've decided to drain/flush my coolant at is a lovely orangey brown colour.

Problem is that I can't see an easy way to get at the lower hose and tap on the radiator. Should I be coming in from above or below?? I need to try and make it as easy as possible as it looks like I'm gonna have to flush/run/dump about half a dozen times...

Is it OK to drain and fill it while hot? Obviously I'll take care to avoid cooking myself...

TIA!!

I'd take the splashguard off from under your car then undo the drain **** from below. undo both the bleed screw and the rad cap and let her drain!

I don't think you want to refill with cold water when it's hot, just wait a little while.

haha!!! it's *'d out the word drainc*ck from my previous message. I guess i should have said drain tap! wink.gif
