I know i asked this question before - but only repeating it as i never had response.

I did all as per diagram below plus i have removed AIV and PRVR's. For now i will keep manual boost controller and at later stage add electronic one - diagram shows both of them connected in digram - is that how it should be or i have choice one or the other?

Thank you in advance guys!

Also - how many are here with deleted PRVR's? Any difference?

the diagram doesn't show the electronic link between the boost controller solenoid and the valve... the manual boost controller is in the separate picture...

your's shouldn't have the ECB or it's solenoid..

you should only have one or the other.

So if i dont have EBC for now i should stick to boost controler solenoid (as per picture)?

Yes mate, the EBC replace the stock boost solenoids. So it's a case of one or t'other..

Sorry to bring this up - can someone point me to where are this boos solenoid is located and maybe picture of it? I am completely mixxed up ..

they are located on each side of the engine just under the upper black boost pipe that can be seen

when viewing engine from the wing side

Then i dont understand - diagram above shows need for only ONE Boost solenoid? And i got 2 ...

Because on the standard car they used 1 solenoid to control each actuator with a ebc you tee off between the actuators and use the one solenoid to control both

Circled in red should be Boost solenoids? And judging by diagram i dont really need them?

Just to make it simple - at present i dont have EBC controller or EBC solenoid (where can i get one?) - so i should stick with this diagram: ? 8390425.jpg

I've got a blitz ebc cost me around 180 from Japperformance its personal choice on which one you go for but most good garages will be able to source you one I'd expect to pay somewhere in the 200 quid bracket for a good one just for the love of god don't go cheap and buy a manual boost controller you'll regret it

Thank you so much for explanations njmworsley! Much appreciated! Its just i am pissed off at myself - as i used diagram on top to get it all done - and i dont have EBC to work with and i so wanted to start engine today ....

Could always take a drive to Japperformance in Crawley they usually have some on the shelf if not im meeting my mapper later and he sometimes has a couple in stock

yes but your pic is missing the boost sensor feeding info back to your dash boost gauge....

Hopefully last question today - if i stick with diagram above - and use manual controller for now - it should work?

It will work but you gotta be sooooooooo careful with manual controllers everyone I know warns against them as they tend to create boost spikes that can really damage the engine if I were you I'd start the car with the manual one and drive it around (if you have to) taking it easy on the throttle and fit a ebc asap

but this is the one you should be using with the manual boost controller in place of the EBC solenoid & Controller... (like the alternate.. little pic)

Thanks guys! You are great! Especially sitting in here on saturday ... :) I am fitting manual controller just for the sake of testing my engine - i was working on it whole winter. Next week will fit ebc for sure!
