I reckon its using a dynamometer and / or rolling road, where they run it at constant 56 mph etc in controlled environment etc like they do with most cars wink.gif

Plus itd probably get that required 56mph just idling / driving on the clutch.

Plus, have you drove your car reaaaaally slow, like change up at 1750 rpm or something on *every* gear change and dont go over 60 on the motorways, try it, youll probably get an amazing mpg.

In a boring kind of way, it gets addictive trying to beat your mpg record smile.gif hehehe

It also says that the Toyota hatchback thing is 1500mm or so, and that the tiny UK Smart Car type of car is 2200mm or so confused.gif

Stuart

What mpg's have you achived ?

I have an auto, so not so easy to change too low in the rev range. I seem to only get about 20mpg even when I drive frugally.

Corolla T-Sport - 1910mm long ?? That's less than 6 feet !!!!!!!!!! Less than half the length of an MG TF160 roadster!! BolloX !
