JAE Tunnel Run 2012

In association with missbanzai

 

For the 2nd time the teams at MissBanzai and JAE are collaborating to bring you the JAE Tunnel Run 2012

 

This year we will be starting from Wicksteed Park on the evening of Friday 7^th September.

The MissBanzai team will be waiting to collect your entrance fee at the field closest to the entrance at 10pm.

Entrance fee is £10 per car - £8 of this fee will be given to Macmillan cancer care, this is all helping to go towards money being raised all weekend at JAE.

£2 is to cover admin and printing costs.

 

At approx 11pm when all the maps are handed out, we will be off to see the sights and tunnels of London.

These will include The London Eye, Tower of London, Tower bridge and Big Ben… we will be doing some epic tunnels which include The Kingsway tunnel and the favourite West Ferry underpass to name but a few.

 

So if you have heard of our infamous tunnel runs, but have never done one or you are a hard core tunnel runner and know what these are all about, get yourself, and your friends involved to help us raise as much money as possible for this very worthy charity.

 

There will be a prize for Spirit of the Tunnel Run on the night, which will go to the car/team who have embraced tunnel running to the max!

 

Details

Starting point: Entrance field at Wicksteed Park

Gates open: 9pm

Price: £10 per car – Route map will be handed out on entry

Gates close for entry: 10:30pm

Cars leave for London: Approx 11pm

 

The tunnel run will end at South Mimms services, where we can have some breakfast and then convoy back to JAE.

Its ok im looking forward to the sweetys and the puppys :lol:

yeh, me too, it seems a great idea, but in reality it just too late and for us driving all that way down and then again in the middle of the night, its a long slog !!! I think you would rather get on the lash and down some beers!!!!

I`m bringing some Vodka and coke and some bottles of orange WKD, lol.........and no I`m not gay!! I just like gay drinks,lol, I lived in the family pub in Southport for 15 years and seemed to have got a dislike to larger and mans drinks!!!! I hate whiskey,gin, and all those old man spirits!!! ewwwwww, I wont say no to a nice cold larger but it really does taste like shit to me :D

15 ml Midori® melon liqueur

10 ml advocaat liqueur

10 ml Bailey's® Irish cream

2 dashes grenadine syrup

 

Pour Midori then Advocaat in glass. Add a few dashes of grenadine and then float Bailey's on top.
