Hi mate, I bought an azoo 4 fan cooler for my tank. It's all fitted up but it's blowing air into the tank. Is this right?

I was expecting it to suck warm air out rather than blow cold air in as this is a much more efficient way of cooling.

Cheers bud.

Just flip it round. They build them with the intention of blowing this increases evaporation and gas exchange which is an excellent way to cool the water unfortuntly with a closed hood it doesnt allow the warm air to be pushed away. If you turn the unit over it will effectivly become an extration fan. I have 2 5" ones doing exactly that.

Cheers for that mate, I'll leave it running that way for a while then turn it round and see if it's any better. I'd need to strip it down to reverse the flow as the fixings only allow a 90deg movement.

No worries, ive lost 2 degrees since ive had the controller on and it hasnt gone above 26.5 which is great I struggled to keep below 30 last summer and the acropora suffered lots of bleeching :(

That's a good temp. Marine's suffer from temp changes quite badly don't they? Will your coral recover?

I'll stick to my tropicals I think, much eaiser.lol I got 3 Distichodus Afinnis now and they are brilliant at the moment :)

Yes, temp flux is a ball ache. Most have regrown over the dead skeleton now which is good. Theyre going a bit wild atm. I love discos, sexfatiartas is a great fish if a little large.
