it fitted a treat and all the cables were inside my pc all ready, just 20mm room left in the casing as its so big! up and running and 2012 driver update`s installed :tongue_smilie:

stock for stock the gtr will piss it but you said there was no way my zed would keep up with ricks. thats why i said you will be surprised i was on the back of his gtr eveywhere. thats why he modded his to 680hp. there 470hp stock and it only cost him 3k to get to that :shock:

 

there both road cars. on on the drag wins and the one on the road the gtr has the edge but the zed has a faulty maf lol!!!

I didnt say beat one i said keep up. you beat an R8 so you said and there only 1.5 secs slower to 100mph than the gtr so yes you will be in touch :wink:

 

You have a point, but then whats on paper is usually wrong, take the veyron numbers for instance, 0-62 is supposed to be 2.4 seconds or there abouts? the Mclaren F1 *road car* figures are 0-62 in 3.2 seconds, yet in the top gear drag race in the real world the mclaren F1 reached 60 before the veyron. soooooo.

for the veyron to get that 0/60 it would have to launch from like 6000rpm and drop the clutch. on TG it basically set off from 200rpm tg are not going to risk blowing up a 2 million pound car.:wink:

Marks zed is parctically stock with tubs and a na rear. He has 435hp so only 40hp less than a gtr and he is about 150/160kg lighter so he could well take on a gtr and win??

Given the choice between a GTR or a 300zx I know what i'd choose and it wouldn't be a 20yr old car. Having driven both cars there have to be a significant investment for a zed to even come close to the performance of a GTR on the track. Not only is the GTR blessed with excellent performance, it excels at cornering and carrying speed that put its modern rivals to shame. A recent EVO magazine review put it ahead of the latest recently released Porsche 911 S.

 

gtr will do 0/60 in 3.5 with all the R's turned off. without its about 4.3 iirc and a decent zed with good traction will pull a 4.5/8 easy.

 

Wrong. All the RRR's off does not equate to the quickest 0-60 time. Nissan quote 3.8 secs for the pre 2011 cars. It's widely recommended puting the suspension in comfort for launching as the softens the rear suspension allowing better traction off the line.

stand corrected then about R's just what i had seen on the video reviews when it 1st came out.

 

My zed is more than capable in the bends and like i said kept up with ricks. but everything is up rated and sits flat and has zero roll. it has more grip than i am willing to push the car, going back to Daz comment but yeah stock for stock the zed will be :xxx:

no i dont drink im T total lol!! Nope rick lives near my works and he is a manc lol!!! Spent alot of money on all cf skirts and spoilers and its white. And his evo well he has spent over 100K on that :shock:

I absolutely love them, driven one today and its just epic,epic,epic like you won't belive, been saving for a while but need to sell all my zeds, Phil on here has one , and he parks it in his garage next to his 300zx and I hate to say it but the 300 looks puny, not looking forward to the maintenance costs, but fook it, you only live once ;)

no ..a well sorted zed (which yours isnt ;) ) would keep up (just) with a gtr... but defining a well sorted zed is quite hard, most will be on there absolute limit(wont last long ) all the internals will be stressed and would probably explode after a few laps on a track!! I`ve driven some quick cars in my time but the GTR i played with yesterday was ballistic!! I still want one, you wont change my mind :tt2:..... oh and stop getting so stressed about it, its only car :clown:

Spend enough money on something and anythings possible. There's a 200mph Toyota Corolla out there - does that mean we should all be driving Corolla's - i think not.

power wise it is yes but he wasted the gtr on the stright. I kept up. see the differance??? as for handleing every single componant has been up rated with the best you can buy. My zed is lower and harder than a gtr and i can make it even stiffer again. i also have wider tyres. a boosted zed can pull a 4.5 to 60 all day couple that with a na diff which shaves a second off the 60 provided you can get the grip. its like having a 500hp car to get thoughs figures. gtr is 470hp and a good 150/60kg heaver.
