hello paul.

g reg was used for cars from the end of 89 to the middle of 90. so it doesn't really matter if the parts say 90 onwards as your car falls in that catagory (unless you have a z31)

It probably says on the V5 that it was declared manufatured 1989 or 1990, it goes on the age of the vehicle not the registration date, but sometimes the DVLA screw it up. Theres a '53 plate 300zx being broken for spares on ebay at the mo!

hmmm ultimately its a 1989 300zx I'd expect it to on a G plate not a T plate lol

Yea wasn't expecting T plate lol just wonderd what made them put it on G thats all,

Still searching for a decent single exhaust Baz lol thinking about asking my bro where he bought the hks one from

The 300zx was Manufactured from 1989-2000.

1990-1994 was the official UK Sale dates.

1990-1996 was the official US Sale dates.

There should be a date of First Manufacturer on the V5 somewhere (Mine is on the front page where it says - Was Registered overseas. Declared Manufactured 1993). When it comes to Imports I suspect they probably take a manufactured date from whatever the owner/seller has listed as the Declared date.

If you give me your Chassis number I can check it against the Chassis number list for a date range. You also check items like labels on seat belts for dates, although items like that get changed over a lot through wear and tear.
