I know your pain!

Try explaining to a 2 year old that peppa pig is not on the TV constantly while she is sat on the sofa shouting PIG at me and looking angry

I only hate it when I actually hate the song......

......and generally when there is a song stuck in my head that I cannot get rid of, it is because I do hate the song!!!

My most hated songs of the moment are:

"We Are Young" by some pathetic sounding act called Fun (who make The Script look....not quite so dull and pathetic)!!!

That woeful cover version of Heart's "Alone" - and I'm hoping that YOU know that!!!

Anything by Jessie f*****g J....... But especially Domino.

And why oh why does my local radio station (unfortunately the only signal I can pick up from inside my office; even with DAB) play each of these songs at least 3 times a piece during work hours?????

Does my bleeding head in!!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

This one is the best. him magnafiying glass can go up his arse and i be he will love it

Usually when I'm driving a train, I finish up humming along to coward of the county. Annoying if you are going to Blackpool and its going round your head for over an hour!!

I had rocky theme tune in my head today as someone was humming it earlier lmao

Richard I really do sympathise !

Where I work, the radio is on the local station and its Jessie J, Olly Murs, that coloured lassie wi the big ass, her name escapes me at present ?

I have adapted a set of ear defenders with a headphone set, and now I listen to whatever I want !!

Some of the stuff is kinda crappy, and some of it just gets played to death ! Today we had the "Fun" thing you refer too, played at least 5 times in my daily shift !!

Old man rant here !

Alan.

Hah hah, Alan, I forgot about Olly bloody Murrs mate - my local radio station plays his entire catalogue every day as well....... I bet our respective stations have the same playlists, many of these local radio stations are owned by the same bigger company anyway!!!

Sad thing is, I bought a DAB radio for the office so I could listen to Absolute or Planet Rock, but because of the metal framed building I work in (probably) the reception is crap and "Aylesbury's Mix96" is all I can get on it:surrender:

I only ever listen to rock radio ( or real xs as its now called ) so at least when somthing sticks for the day its somethng descent.

As for the kiddie music, been off this week so have been subjected to in the night garden and other bizar stuff only a five month old could make sence off.

luckily my wee one Caitlin who is 5 months old today has been listening to rock radio since before she was born and is quite fond of acdc as apposed to balamory. We have had the same bed time routine since she was born. Just me, her, her bottle and the music until she falls asleep. i've tried it without the music, she doesn't settle.

So hopfully as she gets older it will be rock she listens to and not five minute wonder pop drivel, so even then I wont have crap in my head all day. Pays to have a long term plan.
