Anyone own or has owned either of these? The mr2 is a great car but isn't really doing it for me. I have thought about getting another 300zx but for the money I'd need to spend on one I want I could get something a lot newer and try something new. I've always liked the Honda and have heard they are great to drive. The 350z is a handsome looking car and I think it would be good to progress on the Zed front. Your thoughts guys? I will be looking to spend up to 6k but preferably no more than 5k. All opinions welcome.

well the top gear guys got a porker a lambo and a...somthing else for 5/6k

5/6k p1 ......evo 6......and out of the s200 and a 350,it would have to be the s2000. the 350 imo will only point out how much you miss the 300tt. because they're better.

like you I drive a van daily and have a 350Z GT Roadster for the good times. I've had it 3 years ansd still love it every time I get in it. I keep saying it's going to go this year but then I go for another ride. For me it beats the Z32 hands down but my lad doesn't agree. It's all a matter of taste. The one big advantage to me is minimal running costs over the Z32 which always gobbled money.

Dave, like you it would not be a daily driver, so I'd buy another 300zx and keep the change.....

 

......or, if it wasn't a dog for that price, a Porsche 928 s4; a thumping 5 litre V8, 320-ish BHP, fast and great road presence!!

i might know of a guy in glasgow selling an m3 vert with cinnamon trim in carbon black that needs scratches painting in and is hpi clear with 103000 on the clock for just over 6k

S2k for sure, great handling and for a weekend toy you can't beat hammering down a country road revving the hell out of it plus there's more tuning options than you can shake a stick at and there easy to work on, I'd say the 350 is more of a gt car not got anything against them its just I think the Honda is more of a focused car
